Krishnapuram Palace: located in Kayamkulam the palace was built in the 18th century during the reign of Marthanda Varma. Architecure is typical Kerala-style, with gabled roof, dormer windows and narrow corridors. The famous mural called Gajendra Moksham, is kept in the western end of the ground floor. This is the largest mural in Kerala,49 sq.m.The palace also houses a museum of antique sculptures, paintings and bronze articles.
